Andrew Hannigan

I am fortunate to have been a member of CrossFit communities in Ireland, the UK, Poland, France and across the US, and I can say with certainty that CrossFit ECF’s community and coaching are truly as good as it gets. Since joining in July 2023 to rehabilitate from multiple knee reconstructions, I have been inspired by the dedication of the members and the quality of the coaching, and I am grateful to be a small part of this group as the dedicated running coach at ECF!

 

I have loved sport and competition for as long as I can remember! I participated in track & field and cross country throughout high school, competing at the Irish national championships as part of medal-winning teams, before competing at the NIRCA US cross country championships while at Northeastern University. Prior to multiple ACL injuries I was also an avid soccer and gaelic football player.


Running is often seen as the least enjoyable part of a CrossFit athlete’s training - I want to change this! As a USA Track and Field Level 1 coach my goal is to help you level-up with an understanding of elite running biomechanics and complimentary training approaches to sit alongside our core CrossFit programming. I’m excited to work with members of our community who want to build a positive relationship with running while helping you achieve your specific and unique goals.
